How to place an order

Ordering hours are between 8:00am through 4:30pm (Pacific Standard Time) Monday through Friday. Please call our toll free number 1-800-421-7215 or 1-310-961-3491. Our voice mail answering system will be on during the evenings and weekends.

For customers with facsimile machines, please use our FAX line 1-800-505-1134 or 1-310-464-9210. Our fax machine will be in operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All messages will be returned the next business day. If your order is placed before 2:00pm (PST), in most cases, Tec/West will be able to process and ship out your orders that same day.

Orderring Procedures

You need “Acrobat Reader” to read or print Adobe Acrobat (PDF) files. Your computer system may already has it. Even if not,don’t worry. It’s free! You can download and use it with no charge. Just click the image right, it will lead you “Acrobat Reader.”

We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards for all orders. In order to accept payment by credit card, please give the following information:

1. Credit card number
2. Card holder?s name
3. Mastercard or Visa
4. Expiration date

For will call customers, we always need an ID to match with the card holder?s name. There will be a minimum charge of $3.50 (Processing Fee) to any credit card order under $50.00.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

All shipments will be FOB our Los Angeles warehouse or from the shipping point. Regular shipments will be sent out UPS (United Parcel Service) Ground unless stipulated by the purchasing customer. Any special requirements for shipping (Trucking company specifications) need be stated with the purchase order, otherwise Tec/West will select the shipping methods. A nominal handling charge is incorporated into our shipping costs.

Orders placed before 2:00pm (PST), in most cases, will be shipped that day. The only exceptions are Red Label (Next Day Air) or Blue Label (2nd Day Air) or Orange Label (3rd Day Air), which will be processed as soon as it is possible.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

Inspect all merchandise upon your receipt from carrier. All damage claims are to be made on the carrier.

RETURN MERCHANDISE

Tec/West will not accept any merchandise without a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER issued from our accounting department. Returns must be sent to our warehouse and with the return number on each carton with the original packing list. Tec/West will issue a call tag for any defective items. Also, to avoid any delays in processing, please include a brief memo for the return and a sample copy resulting from the damage. Please note that any O.E.M. products are not warranted by Tec/West.

SHIPPING ERRORS

In case of shipping error, please call us immediately and we will pay for the freight in both directions and ship the corrected part UPS Ground. If the customer chooses the shipment to be sent red or blue label, the customer will pick up the difference in freight.

RE-STOCKING CHARGE & C.O.D. REFUSED

A 10% re-stocking charge will be invoiced or added to the customer’s account on orders that are placed in error or that are no longer desired by the customer. We cannot accept any merchandise returned more than 90 days from the invoice date. Any merchandise that has been written on, marked, relabeled, or placed in other than original packaging will not be accepted for return credit. When the customer decides to refuse to accept a C.O.D delivery, the customer will be invoiced for the freight, for both directions, and will be billed for the re-stocking fee.

CATALOG PRICES

Prices are subject to change without notice. Items not listed or listed as “will advise,” please call us for the most current prices and availability. When you receive new literature, please add it to your Tec/West catalog.

CREDIT TERMS AND CASH ON DELIVERY ACCOUNTS (C.O.D.)

All orders will be shipped C.O.D. freight collect unless a credit application has been approved by our credit department. Accounts whose checks have been returned will be placed on a cash-only basis until the account has been cleared by the credit department. A $25.00 service charge will be applied for each returned check to the outstanding balance. In addition, a $3.00 redeposit fee will be applied for each redeposit requested by the customer.

WILL CALL CUSTOMERS IN THE LOCAL AREAS

For those customers in the Los Angeles area who cannot wait a day for their shipment, Tec/West is able to process your order and have it ready for pick-up in only 45 minutes! Just call between the hours of 8:00am-3:30pm (Monday through Friday) and we will have your part order ready for you when you come in for pick-up. You will also save in freight charges and shipping and handling charges.
